Wynnlodge operate a helpdesk for their OPAS customers.  This is manned from 9am till 5pm, Monday to Friday.  All other times will be covered by an answer machine.  Although we can respond to problems/queries sent to us by email, if you require a prompt response then we should be contacted by telephone on 01904 492425.

   
         
       
         
   

VAT rate change

   
       
       
         
   
The VAT rate changes to 20% on 4 January 2011. When you are ready to change OPAS (i.e. when you have passed any old invoices that are at 17.5%), simply go into Utilities - Choices - System and change the VAT line. Once you have made the changes, press Ctrl/Enter to save and Enter at the Recalc Sysdef prompt. Any problems, please ring the support desk.

OPAS 7+ NOW AVAILABLE

   
         
    OPAS 7+ was released last summer and has been installed in several of our hospitals already. Uptake for the new version has been wonderful but sadly that means all our upgrade days are booked until the end of February 2011.    
         
    Our earliest available dates are currently in March 2011, but please give us a call, or drop us an email, if you would like to arrange a date for getting version 7+.

GoToAssist is a web-based remote support tool that enables us to look at your computer from our office. There is no need for any software to be installed on your PC, and as long as you have a working connection to the Internet, the physical distance between us is irrelevant.

To initiate a remote support session, ring our support desk on 01904 492425 and we will issue you with a 9 digit support key.

This is then typed into GoToAssist's connection screen (follow the link below) along with your name (full name or hospital).

We can then remotely view and control your computer to solve the problem just as if we were sitting at your desk.

   
         
   
   
         
    Security

GoToAssist users can rest assured that their data is secure. Screen sharing and remote control of customer computers is 100 percent permission-based, and data is fully encrypted end-to-end using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and government-approved 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption.
